James is so excited to join forces with High School classmate Dan Musgrove, best known to New Zealand audiences as Lefty Munro from Westside, and Marty Johnstone from Underbelly, for an evening fo songs, poetry and banter at the beautiful ASB Theatre Marlborough
James and Dan grew up creating theatre together at Marlborough Boys College, but since turning professional have never been on the stage together. Until now! They are joined by Juilliard graguate and pianist Jillian Zack.
The program will include Robert Schumann’s masterful song cycle Dichterliebe, American composer Tom Cipullo’s Another Reason Why I Don’t Keep A Gun In The House and New Zealand composer Douglas Lilburn’s Sings Harry.
Dan will also read some of his poetry and there might be a couple of other surprises…
